Fête de l'automne — Les Granges-le-Roi (live event)

Live sound & stage management + multitrack recording

Full sound reinforcement for the autumn festival in Les Granges-le-Roi: a PA system tailored to the village square, FOH and monitor mixing, two bands on stage over the course of the day.

Alongside the live mixing, the concert was recorded in multitrack. That multitrack was then used to produce a live mix of the show, mixed at the studio after the event.

That is the point of hiring a studio to run your sound: the audience gets a good mix on the day, and the bands leave with a usable recording of their set.

Recording, mixing and mastering

Full production of a 5-track EP for metal band Empreinte(s): recording, mixing and mastering all done at the studio, from the first take to the final master.

The studio records up to 24 simultaneous tracks with 4 independent headphone mixes: the band plays together, just like in rehearsal, without giving up the separation a good mix needs.

Hybrid mix, as always here: tube preamps when the guitars need colour and thickness, a transparent Midas chain on the drums. Metal is unforgiving on a mix — that's exactly why we love doing it.
