A great day in Les Granges-le-Roi for the autumn festival. Barn Records handled the sound for the event: system setup and tuning, soundchecks for both bands, front-of-house and monitor mixing throughout the day.
But we didn't stop there: the concert was also recorded in multitrack. Back at the studio, that multitrack was used to produce a live mix of the day — a proper, listenable recording, mixed at the studio, not just a memory.
That's how we approach events: run the sound and record it in one go. It costs next to nothing extra on the day, since the mics are already in place, and it leaves the bands with something to release after the show.
Our PA system is modular and adapts to the venue and the style — from the village square to the community hall.
